Multilingual Information Retrieval

Bitext's linguistic technology included in NaturalFinder can also be adapted to multilingual search engines which allow to retrieve information which has been published in a language other than the one used. Therefore, the user can query in his/her mother tongue and retrieve relevant documents in any other language.

Bitext has a large experience in the development of multilingual information retrieval projects. Bitext was one of the partners in the IST-Liquid project, funded by the European Union and led by ATOS Origin. This project focused on multilingual information retrieval in Spanish, English, and Catalan.
